From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Asar is a graduate of Gwynedd-Mercy University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. A lover of art, he has been writing since high school with the support of his family. Living in Philly, he works with children with autism as well as working for the Free Library of Philadelphia.

With his family and best friends at his side offering persistent motivation and encouragement, he conclusively decided to follow his dream of writing professional.
