In a world where divine lineage is forbidden and demons reign supreme, Ezekiel, a nephilim raised in the divine realms, emerges as a beacon of hope. Ezekiel is sent to Earth, for the sole purpose of freeing humanity from the demon’s grip. …But his quest becomes complicated when he meets Fatima, granddaughter of Demon Lord Beelzebub.

Fatima, born into power and luxury, feels suffocated by her demonic heritage’s expectations. As Ezekiel’s compassion and curiosity inspire Fatima to challenge the status quo, she embarks on a fiery journey of self-discovery. Their intertwined paths unfold a tapestry of duty, desire, and conflicting allegiances.

Will their bond unite or divide them amidst celestial and demonic turmoil?

In the Divine Realm Archangel Mika’il stood resolute. He peered over the firmament with the weight of eternity on his massive shoulders. His gaze was so piercing that he was sure a few mortals on Earth had to feel his stare.

Mika’il thought about his very existence.  He remembered when stars were made. He remembered casting Iblis from the realm. He remembered aiding the mortals in the Battle of Badr. He’d relive all of it a thousand times over again since it was better then what existence was now.

…The Demons had won. The Earth was shrouded in darkness. What was most frustrating was that there was no fight — no battle of Armageddon. The Demons won by turning the mortals against the Divine using politics, media, entertainment, and drugs. On all seven continents, one of the Seven Demon Lords held the highest seat of political power.

The only reason the Divine Forces made no move was they truly had no idea how. They couldn’t raze the demons from the Earth without human casualties. They couldn’t even appear before the humans for fear that the Demon Lords would begin hunting them down.

“Mika’il,” The sweetest voice in the realm spoke his name.

Mika’il turned. His eyes fell upon his son Ezekiel and his human mother, Lailah. The young man was enveloped by an ethereal aura. Lailah’s arms were wrapped securely around her precious son, not wanting to let him go.

For so long, there was no hope of victory. There wasn’t a light at the tunnel until the Archangels chose to be as cunning as the demons. There was a way to balance the scales of the universe once again and that was making the forbidden permissible.

For several millennia, the celestial world had not seen a nephilim. Conceiving a nephilim is strictly forbidden by laws of the Divine due to how powerful they were. …But this was the only way. Ezekiel was the way forward.

“He’s ready, Mika’il.” Lailah's eyes brimmed with tears, her voice trembling with the endless abundance of a mother’s love. “Speaking from the human perspective, the world below is treacherous, and your kind is forbidden. Is this really the only way?”

“Unfortunately, yes.” Mika’il’s expression softened, tempered by the depths of his wisdom. With reverent slowness, Mika’il unfolded his majestic wings, their span enveloping Ezekiel and Lailah in a celestial embrace. As the feathers shimmered, they released a fragrance of myrrh and cassia, carrying the essence of divine protection. “His power and celestial aura undetectable by the demons. He’ll be able to pose as one of them. It’s the only way the mission will be a success.”

When Mika’il’s six wings receded, Ezekiel’s eyes widened at the sights of his uncles — his teachers … Jibreel, Israfil, and Azrael — to convene around Ezekiel. Together, they formed a sacred circle around their nephew, invoking the ancient Enochian magic.

“By the power of the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine,” Mika’il declared. “We shield Ezekiel’s true nature from the prying eyes of darkness.”

The Archangels channeled divine energy, weaving a protective veil around Ezekiel. Their voices echoed in unison: “Ol sonuf vaoresaji, gohu IAD Balt — Conceal his essence, veil his light. Astra, chithé, dezior — Protect him from the demonic sight.”

As the Enochian incantations resonated, Ezekiel’s aura transformed, masking his celestial heritage. Lailah stepped forward, her hand extended, bearing a delicate golden pendant cradling a vibrant citrine stone — the cherished heirloom from her side of Ezekiel’s family. With gentle reverence, she placed the pendant around Ezekiel's neck. The citrine gleamed against his skin, radiating warmth.

“Your Grandmother gave this amulet to me when I was a little girl. I didn’t believe her when she said it was forged in the heart of this place,” Lailah whispered, her voice trembling. “When I met your father, the first thing he told me was that she was right.”

As the amulet settled into place, its presence resonated within Ezekiel, sealing his fate. The inscription was “Luciftias”, the Enochian word for ‘brightness’ was etched into the gold.

Jibreel raised his hand. With a subtle gesture, Jibreel traced intricate patterns in the air. The atmosphere responded to his divine command. A luminous slit appeared, widening into a shimmering portal. Iridescent colors swirled within, like celestial waters cascading through the veil between worlds. The air vibrated with anticipation, as if the very fabric of reality had been parted to reveal hidden pathways.

Ezekiel steeled himself, his determination fortified by the weight of his lineage. With a deep breath, he stepped forward, beginning to disappear into the radiant light. As he stepped through the portal, he cast a lingering glance backward. His gaze met his father, whose eyes shone with pride while his mother smiled through her tears.

Ezekiel’s heart swelled with emotion, but he knew his path lay ahead. With a final nod, he turned, leaving the warmth of his family's love behind, embracing the unknown destiny that awaited him.

The portal closed. Mika’il thought of the dreams that Ezekiel told him of. It was the boy’s dreams that fostered this plan to begin with. They were visions of a bond between light and darkness.

“What of the girl, Mika’il? Can she truly be the key?” Lailah quizzed.

Mika’il’s expression remained steadfast, his faith in Ezekiel unwavering. “The threads of destiny are woven with precision. Ezekiel’s heart will reveal the path while posing as one of them. The time of reckoning approaches. Ezekiel’s light will illuminate the darkness and bring redemption to mankind.”
