DANAE NOIR

unnamed (2).jpg

Danae Noir writes love the way she has lived it. Messy. Miraculous. Always worth the risk.

She is a Southern woman to her core, raised between sweet heat, church pews, and sand gnats. Savannah, Georgia shaped her softness, but life sharpened her edges. Atlanta is where she finally gave herself permission to chase the dream she had been carrying since girlhood.

Before becoming an author, she spent years as a middle grades teacher. The work demanded patience and heart, but it also reminded her how much she needed her own creative space. Writing had always been her way of breathing. Poems in spiral notebooks. Fanfiction on old Bow Wow message boards. Entire worlds born from the moments her undiagnosed ADHD made reality feel too loud or too fast. Her imagination became home long before she knew she would build a career inside it.

Today she builds entire universes filled with people who feel as real as the ones she grew up beside. Her characters love hard, heal slowly, cuss a little, pray a little, and fight for the softness they were not always given. She writes them that way because she knows what it feels like to earn your own peace.

She is married to her best friend, a man who pushes her dreams forward even on the days she cannot see them clearly. They share a sweet little dog named Sweetie, who acts as her good luck charm whenever it is time to settle into her office and work.

Her pen name does not come from darkness. Danae Noir is rooted in depth and mystery and the quiet hours when her creativity speaks the loudest. She believes love stories are sacred. She believes Black romance deserves range. She believes storytelling is her truest form of prayer.

Now that she has arrived, she is not holding anything back.

STAY TUNED FOR HER DEBUT...
