Jamilla Cunningham grew up in Detroit, Michigan and at the age of twelve she fell in love with urban fiction thanks to her older sister. So in love that she collected many popular novels over the years.

She even began writing her own stories as a hobby. Writing was always therapy for her during difficult times such as losing her father, postpartum depression and failed relationships.

Fourteen years later she finally decided to share her creativity with the world. She plans to give her readers stories that will make them laugh, cry, and always come back for more.
